Welcome to Paradise Island Alpacas. We are located on Gabriola Island,
in the Gulf Islands which is on the west coast of British Columbia.
History:
We started with Alpacas in May of 2005, being a romantic sort of guy
I bought two as a wedding present for my wife Taylor.
2 months later while going to our friends house we spotted a for sale sign
on a beautiful property on North Road. Well I made a statement to my wife
about buying it, 3 months later it was ours:-). (sounds soooo easy)
we now have 31 Alpacas, 3 Llamas and 60 Chickens
There are new baby Alpacas (called Cria) every year.
We converted an old barn into a farm store which is now open.
We sell Alpaca products, eggs and also items on consignment from local artists.
We have many tourists stopping by, they take the Alpaca on the trail though the farm.
We conduct educational seminars on carding, spinning and shearing.
Lots of hands on things to do for all family members.
The photo's on the other pages show "our girls" they are the ones who make the farm really work. Without them the animals would not be as socialised.
We are open for visits all summer so if in our neighbourhood please drop by.
